QuadraLean Ingredients

QuadraLean contains the following active ingredients: Clarinol (conjugated linoleic acid) 500 mg, Garcinia cambogia 500 mg, Raspberry ketones 250 mg, and QuadraLean Carnitine Blend (Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Propionyl-L-Carnitine, and Carnitine Tartrate) 500 mg.

Other ingredients include Gelatin, dicalcium phosphate, plant cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.

Benefits of QuadraLean

Clarinol (also known as conjugated linoleic acid) sounds exotic for someone who isn’t that familiar with diet supplements. In fact, Clarinol is nothing more than CLA, a relatively common fat burner that can be found in the composition of many other weight loss pills.

However, regardless its name (Clarinol or Tonalin that is another form of CLA that is widely used in weight loss supplementation), dieters has to understand that many of the claims around CLA are not supported by any kind of clinical evidence. Some studies are suggesting that CLA might improve the movement of weight from fat to lean muscle, but only when used by people who are already fit. So it won’t transform fat into muscle overnight or without a good regime based on proper diet and exercises. CLA will not work any miracles, but it might help the process.

The second key ingredient in QuadraLean is Garcinia Cambogia. Again, we have the same issue with Garcinia Cambogia as we had with CLA. There are no clinical pieces of evidence to support its weight loss properties. The plant has been used for centuries, but to treat other health concerns and never to help the weight loss process. In fact, Garcinia Cambogia wasn’t that popular as an ingredient until it was heavily promoted by the TV celebrity Dr. Oz; he even claimed Garcinia Cambogia is “The Holy Grail of Weight Loss.”

Raspberry Ketones “suffers” from a very similar faith. After being advertised on national television by Dr. Oz, the ingredient has quickly become one of the most used ingredients in weight loss products. Again, all shreds of evidence supporting the Raspberry Ketones’ weight loss benefits are anecdotal, to say the least.

The official QuadraLean website claims the supplement is “scientifically formulated” and proven to work. A very interesting claim because none of the three key ingredients have been proven to work in the weight loss process. So who tested the formula? Sadly, RPS Nutrition fails to provide any clinical studies or links to relevant research.

How Much Does QuadraLean Cost?

One bottle of QuadraLean costs $18.22, but you will need two bottles for a full month of treatment. Each bottle contains 150 capsules, but the recommended dose is three capsules on an empty stomach twice daily (six capsules per day in total).

QuadraLean is widely available online. Third party stores (such as Amazon) may offer discounts and even free shipping, depending on how much you buy.

Potential QuadraLean Side Effects

QuadraLean is relatively safe to take compared to other weight loss supplements. Some customer reviews mention a variety of mild side effects, including jitteriness, a bleeding stomach, nervousness, increased heart rate, upset stomach, and diarrhea.

  • All ingredients are listed online
  • Doesn’t contain any stimulants
  • May increase energy levels
  • A lot safer to take compared to other similar weight loss supplements

  • Three of the key ingredients used in QuadraLean have no proven benefits for weight loss
  • The recommended dose is six capsules/day, which is a lot
  • Garcinia Cambogia was associated with several potentially dangerous side effects

Final Verdict

The makers of QuadraLean have taken a very safe approach. The formula includes three ingredients that have recently benefited from an impressive PR campaign, which makes the supplement highly attractive to people looking for a decent weight loss supplements. However, please keep in mind, that the scientific evidence is very thin here. And because the FDA does not regulate supplements, producing companies are free to make some extraordinary claims without being forced to back up these claims with actual clinical research.

Does QuadraLean work? Ignoring the three ingredients mentioned above, the formula also includes a powerful proprietary blend of Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Propionyl-L-Carnitine, and Carnitine Tartrate. And this very blend might be the reason why 50% of the comments are positive, many consumers being jubilant with the results.
